Eugene (Gene) grew up in Central Park/Bethpage where he attended Powell Avenue School then Farmingdale High School. Gene' s athletic ability was spotlighted in the sports of basketball and baseball at Farmingdale H. S..
He was proud to to serve in the U. S. Navy.
Employed by Grumman Aerospace, Bethpage, and 11 years at Grumman in Stuart Florida.
A member of the Bethpage Fire Department where he served as Chief of the Department for two terms.
Married to Dorothy and father of Jeanne (Hance) and Edward.
After Dorothy's death (1985) Gene married Fran from Stuart, Florida.
Gene passed away January 25, 2005.
