Teri Catapano Black was elected to the position of Water Commissioner for the Bethpage Water District in December of 2016. She is the first women to hold this position in our community. Teri grew up in Bethpage and championed the many causes over the years. She holds a degree as teacher, and taught at Mill Neck, school for deaf children, and she continues to teach sign language. Teri was active in the PTA, on the board for the Bethpage Chamber of Commerce, president of the Bethpage Community Council, involved with the quality of water in our community and attends the many meetings. She was involved when the US Golf Open came to the Bethpage Black Course at Bethpage State Park, and was Marshal Captain for the event. Teri and her sister, Carole Ann Catapano founded Century 21, Catapano Homes, which was established in 1992 and they are licensed Real Estate Brokers.
