In 1922 Caroline and Michele (Michael) Catapano arrived from Ottaviano, Italy and settled in the Central Park (Bethpage/Hicksville) area, where 4 generations still live and celebrated this milestone together. The family celebrated the 100th Birthday of Anna Catapano Aleixo (6-14-22) and her younger brother Gaetano's 90th birthday (6-13-32). Anna and Tommy are the children of Carolina and Michele and they both still live in Bethpage! The Catapano Family, who originally were local farmers, later owned and operated Catapano Bros. Nursery for generations on the site of their former family farm.
