Past Bethpage resident, Eileen Katherine DeLalio, died at a Westhampton Nursing Home on Monday, January 7, 2008 at the age of 83. She was born Eileen Katherine Brand on March 20, 1924 in Flushing, the 6th of 7 children to Katherine and Henry Brand.
Eileen grew up on a farm on Bloomingdale Road, Hicksville, 6th of 7 children. She married Perry Delalio in 1947, they settled in Bethpage where they raised their sons, Perry Jr. and Gary. Eileen was active in the Bethpage Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and St. Martin of Tours RC Church and School.
