Farinaro, Lance Cpl Guido

Lance Cpl. Guido Farinaro of Bethpage, 19 years old, was killed by a sniper in Vietnam. He was born in Italy and came to the United States and lived in Bethpage. He went to Chaminade High School, and rather then go on to college, he was determined to serve his country (his adopted country) first. He served under and is remembered by General Peter Pace, United States Marine Corps, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
