Grumman Women Test Pilots

Three of the Grumman wartime production test pilots were: Barbara Kibbee Jayne, Cecile "Teddy" Kenyon, and Elizabeth Hooker. During the war they would fly parts and people into Bethpage, that was known as the "milk runs". They were soon put on the Grumman payroll, as Production Test Pilots. They flew TBF Avengers, Wildcats and later Hellcats straight from the production line.
