Hencken, Sophie

Life long resident of Bethpage-Farmingdale. Mrs. Hencken's family once owned Albert's Inn which was located on the northeast corner of the Hempstead Trunpike and Hicksville Road in Bethpage. The inn operated as a family restaurant, seven days a week from 1921 - 1947.

Mrs. Hencken was an elementary teacher in the Farmingdale School District.
