The Looney Farm was on Stewart Ave, the site of Grumman Aircraft then Robert Plan and Briarcliff College. There were 9 children. 5 sons - - Nassau County Policemen - Francis (Commissioner of Police) Harold, Michael, Walter and James. Other siblings, Jack, Mildred, Patrick, and Marita. Jack Looney had a Piper Cub that flew from the farm on Stewart Avenue near South Oyster Bay Road. Jack would take off and land using the corn field as an air field.
