Clara grew up in Astoria, Queens and spent her summers in the 1940's in the Catskills, and while working there she performed in local pubs. Eventually she married Hans W. Ringwald and moved to Bethpage where she raised her family. Here she gave piano lessons to local children and performed in a variety of locations including the Sunrise Village restaurant in Massapequa. Clara passed away on November 4, 2019.
