Tolley, William N.

September 16, 2017, Firefighter William N. Tolley was memorialized with the renaming of the street where William and his family reside in Bethpage. Firefighter Tolley died in the line of duty on April 20, 2017. William grew up in the community of Bethpage, and when he married Marie they purchased a home here to share with daughter Isabella. Firefighter Tolley served as a New York City firefighter in Ladder Company 135 and was a 14 year veteran of the department. Tolley was also a volunteer firefighter with the Hicksville Fire Department where he served during 9/11 and most recently as a member of the Bethpage Fire Department.
