Zahn's Airport

Zahn's Airfield created in North Amityville by farmer, Joseph Zahn, to train pilots on the G. I. Bill. One of the largest schools was Amityville Flying School (AFS). Mechanic, Jack Looney, from Bethpage, helped start this school. Read more on Zahn's Airport on Wikipedia.
