"Your Kitchen Away from Home" Peter Zorn arrived from Germany in the mid l920's, and among many farms, in l940 purchased 10 acres of farm land to raise and sell poultry. Currently, his son Joseph and four of his children manage the Bethpage and two other stores located in Bellmore and East Meadow. The Bethpage store remains on four of the original ten acres and sells mostly ready-to-eat poultry along with lunches from an expanded deli department. The store employs 60 full and part time workers.

Best remembered by the children for their "farm petting zoo"! It was just there - for all the children to enjoy!

May, 2013, Zorn's launched there new outdoor Farmers Market specializing in local fresh fruits and vegetables. Voted the Best of Long Island in 2013 for their fried chicken. - "Bethpage Tribune" July 26, 2013

Zorn's up-date by Merrill Zorn - June 1, 2017. Currently, granddaughter Merrill, is the president and CEO, and runs the entire operation. The Bethpage store remains on four of the original ten acres and sells mostly ready-to-eat and fresh poultry along with a wide variety of homemade food. The store currently employs 65 full and part time workers.

Zorn's to undergo store transformation and over 65 jobs will be saved. A brand new store and facility will be constructed on the western side of the current property. "This is an exciting time for us and the entire Zorn's Family," said Merrill S. Zorn. "This is the beginning of the next chapter in our family's historic legacy on Long Island." The store will remain in operation during construction of the new building and continue to provide high-quality meals and customer service that Long Islanders expect for the past eight decades.
